It sounds really familiar...I will think on it.

I remember a painter that had a show but I cant remember his name. He had big curly afro hair & he was always painting happy little tree's & happy little clouds. Everything he painted was happy. I believe he died. I do remember he did do something with kids at one time but I dont know if this is the same one you are talking about.    cheryl

Yeah,Bob Ross was his name.It's called The Joy Of Painting. unfortunately,he passed away some years ago but his JOP is still on Channel 13. :)

Well I absolutely remember the show, since I mainly drew fantasy/science pictures myself when I was little. Not sure if this is it exactly, but when I did a search I came across a show called "The Secret City" hosted by a "Commander Mark". I don't really remember the whole "commander" thing, but the name of the show struck a chord in my memory, so I think it's the right show. Unfortunately for a site devoted to the work of an artist, they did a pretty crappy job with setting up the background for the page... sheesh
