I agree. There are soooo many great Talking Heads songs, but TMBTP has a warm, friendly sound like no other.

I love Talking Heads...I voted Psycho Killer as it really stands the test of time. Pretty much all of their songs are great, I still listen to their first 4 albums in the car.
David Byrne recently played a gig here in Manchester, England, but I didn't get to hear about it until it was too late :(
The press reviews were all really good and he played a number of old 'Heads songs.

Several people in the thread say they've voted for Psycho Killer but I'm only seeing it in the poll as having one vote?

True, picking a fave's not easy. I had to go with the old tried-and-true "Once in A Lifetime". Strange how that one keeps popping up in movies(The Truman Show, The Family Man...) But I also love "Road To Nowhere" and "Gangster Of Love" OTOH, I was surprised to see the omission of "Don't Worry About The Government" and "Nothing But Flowers".
Can someone help me with a TH question? I forget which song has the classic lyrics:

Okay, so I can't narrow it down to just one. But the song that always makes my laugh is "Blind." You see, when I was a teenager, I went to Oahu with my parents one summer. I met these guys and we were hanging out at a scooter rental hut. That song came on the radio, and one of the guys started singing along with "Blah, blah...blah, blah, blah, blah, blaaaahhh." I had to hold back the cackles long enough to let him know he was doing it wrong. To this day, I can't shake that memory...

I like the Talking Heads a lot! I picked "Life During Wartime" but a close runner up is "Once In A Lifetime". Other favorites include "Wild Wild Life", "Girlfriend Is Better", and the eyebrow raising "Stay Up Late". There are others, but those stand out most.

Remain In Light
and
Speaking in Tongues
Those two demonstrate the best of my favorite T-Heads sounds.
Little Creatures got a little too cute, but so well executed, and I have so many fun memories associated with it!
