Who do you think was the best teen queen in the late 1980's?

My choice: Debbie Gibson. I'll admit that I like a few of her hits & music videos.

I don't think I feel too strongly on the subject, Woops. However, Tiffany's 'I think we're alone now' is a lot more prominent to me than 'Shake your love' by Debbie Gibson. It was the only song of hers I knew at the time.

I was a huge Debbie Gibson fan.  I knew every word to her first album.  I don't know if that's a good thing to admit or not.  :-[

Well, I liked both.
But Debbie wrote and produced her own stuff, so to me that gives her a leg up.

I liked both...ALOT.  But I kinda favored Tiffany. ;)

I thought they were both pretty cool, but I'm more partial to Debbie.  :)

I wasn't  totally crazy about either of them. Although they had some catchy tunes. "I think were alone now" was a great song, but I am going to have to go with Debbie Gibson. I just remember her having more of an influence on me then Tiffany did.

Favorite music videos: "Out Of The Blue" & "Foolish Beat".
IMO, I agree that Deborah is more attractive than Tiffany.
Though I've always found her voice too tinny. Which I think she now voices the cartoon robot.

I have to stick up for Tiffany a little bit though her newer album "Colors of Silence" is really good. If her name hadn't been Tiffany I really believe it would have been a big hit.

I wasn't a big fan so I didn't really like anything she did.

IMO, Debbie Gibson covers of "In The Still Of The Night" is  better than anything Tiffany did.  :D

BTW, "In The Still Of The Night" is in the 1989 "Wonder Years" soundtrack along with "Come Home".

have to give my vote to Tiffany. Had a girlfriend about10 years ago always played the kid in a corner song which i  still like today! as for the girlfriend LONG GONE!!!!!!Richard ! bye the way!  my true queen of the 80s vote would go to Lita Ford after her Runaways days

8) I think Tiffany was prettier, but Debbies music was more fun. I was kinda young when they were out, and I somehow remember that tiffany was more for like older kids. Debbie had more of a market on like the 'Tweens i think . I dunno maybe

Debbie Gibson overall. Although Tiffany had some great tunes, especially "All This Time".

My fave tunes from Debbie are "Only in My Dreams" and "Foolish Beat".
