Subject: Very obscure 80's jingle
Written By: Gary Fixler on 11/22/98 at 07:38 a.m.
Hi all,
I submitted this question before, but I might have done something improperly, because other threads have appeared, but mine never did. Here goes...
When I was a small child, in the early 80's, there was a song that came on the radio sometimes that had these lyrics in it:
What's amatta you?
Hey!
Gotta no respect.
Who do ya think ya are?
Ahhhh
Shaddup a you face!
I've wanted to know who sings it my whole life, or about 15 years of it, anyway. Only one other person has ever heard it, that I've met, and they don't remember who or what either. Please help!
Thanks,
Gary

I think the guy who sang that song went by the name Jepeto, like the character from Pinnochio

Yes, it was Joe Dolce with Shaddup You Face. He's Australian, and he's now touring New Zealand at the moment accompanying a vocalist.
