Subject: 80's Line Dance
My girlfriend is turning 40 and she wants to get ahold of a song we use to dance to at a club in Chicago. The only problem is we don't have the actual title of the song and we have no idea who the artist is. I know, I am not giving you much help but someone out there must have danced to this same song.
It basically was a line dance that was mostly music. Throughout the song you would hear a woman's voice saying hot, hot, give it all you got. Again, we did a line dance for this song so it was very popular at the club we were going to.
I am really trying to find this record so I can give it my girlfriend on her 40th birthday.....any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Your "mystery song" is probably "Give it All You Got" by the one & only Chuck Mangione, a big (instrumental) hit here in the U.S. in the Spring of '80. It was off his 1979 album, "Fun and Games". Fortunately, the album is still in print today on CD here in the U.S. "Give it All You Got" is also available on a couple of subsequent hits collections of his, which are also still available on CD.
However, I'm not 100% certain this is your song, as I don't have it in my own vast collection of '80s music. And while I clearly remember Mangione's "Give it All You Got" after listening to a couple of samples of it here on the 'net, I can't recall whether or not it included a woman chanting the line, "Hot, hot, give it all you got", as you claim...
