Subject: On Know! It's DEVO!
Does anyone know what the current status of DEVO is? Any info would be great!

Mark Mothersbaugh makes soundtracks for films. He used to shop at a store I worked at in LA and used to hit on me all the time even though his girlfriend was always there. It was a little uncomfortable. He did give me some cool stuff though which I've hung onto being the '80's girl that I am!

What else do you know? I must know! What "Stuff" did he give you? Also, what years did you see him at your "Store"?

Oh, nothing too exciting really. Lots of stuff like tshirts and buttons with "Mutato Muzika" on them. As you probably are aware, that's his music company and the site is www.mutato.com. I'm an old fart, so it was around '88 - '89 that I used to see him. He was really funny and, as I mentioned, very friendly. The shop I worked at was a real high-end European and Japanese designer boutique that catered to rock stars and movie stars, so it was kinda cool. Very expensive though, so he didn't buy too much stuff except for maybe some Gaultier. Having seen DEVO though in high school in the early '80's, it was always fun to run into him. I still see his name often on film credits (though not as often as Danny Elfman!).
