Along the lines of The Breakfast Club thread from earlier, for me personally it would have to be "Don't You Forget About Me" from Simple Minds. There's just something about the connotation and references to rememberance and a sense of permanence as applied to our collective memories of that time frame in our lives. Just my spin on it gang! Peace!

This is definately, a worthy defination of the 1980s.
