Subject: Code Red

Written By: Beth on 4/13/2000 at 3:02 p.m.

Hey everyone!

I was just wondering if there's anyone out there (besides me) who remembers this wonderful tv show? I loved it when I was growing up, but now I can't find anyone who remembers it to share memories with! Also, if anyone has any of the episodes on tape, I'd love to hear from you! Please, write to me at my email address, as I don't come here often enough to see if anyone replies.... *smiles*

Thanks, Beth!!

I vaguely remember a short-lived tv series from the late 70's or early 80's that was called "Code R", not Code Red.

I remember Code Red very well it had Lorne Greene fresj from his stint on Battlestar/Galactica 1980 and Adam Rich from 8 is Enough. And I think at the time Kate Jackson's hubby, Andrew Stevens who later played on Dallas was the sex symbol of the show. It was at a LA Fire Dept., if I remember right kind of a copy of Emergency.

I think one of the sponsors of the show was ALPO dog food with Lorne Greene! I think the actors strike hurt this show like alot of others back then like BJ and The Bear, Incredible Hulk, Waltons never came back on the air with new shows after the strike and were in effect canceled, maybe I'm wrong.
