Alright, I can't remeber the name of this song or who sang it, All I remember is the chorus. I'm almost positive it's from the 80's, if not the early 90's. OK, here is the chorus, I hope you can understand which song I'm talking about:

Is it male vocals? If so it sounds like "Things Can Only Get Better" by Howard Jones.

I only ever saw Tour of Duty once or twice (it aired at odd times here in Ireland), but song is either 'We've gotta get out of this place' and it's by The Animals, released in 1965, or 'Paint it black' by the Rolling Stones, from 1972...
