Subject: The Wall
In the trial.. "you little shit, you're in it now...yadda,yadda,yadda..blah,blah, blah...just five minutes more, your honor, him, me alone...Now "more" makes sense but it sounds like "worm" could that be what they call British judges or am I just hearing things.

It's definitely "worm." I just checked the lyrics in the official music book for "The Wall." I have no idea why the judge is called "worm." Perhaps this is some kind of British slang or something that Roger Waters came up with on his own. He tended to use a lot of symbolism and some of it was only revelant to himself. I do know that "worm/wyrm" is an Old World name for "dragon" but this may be a bit of a stretch.

Sounds like "worm" to me, too. Could it be reference to a personal name that never made it into the other songs? Was the character being sarcastic? Or maybe that's what "our hero" heard since he was supposed to be decending into madness anyway? Oh- the possibilities!

Although he saw the judge as an asshole(or asshead really),it was the wife speaking to the judge in that part of the song. I don't know why she would call him a worm. I bet it's a British thing. Or it's not even "worm" after all.
