Ticket prices vary with the location. I recall paying about $4.00 at that time in Savannah, Georgia (a place with a fairly low cost of living). But a ticket price for the same movie in, say, New York would probably have been notably higher.

"Tickey"? You mean "ticket", correct? Well, I shall have to have a go at this ... I believe my mum once said it cost about £2.00 back around that time period. (I live in London if it makes any difference.) My best guess for you.

It would be helpful to know what city and state you are looking for...I'm sure they varied from city to city based on individual economies.

Here in Maryland, I seem to remember them being between $3.00 to $4.00.
