Subject: The Song "Hey DJ"???
I was given an audio cassette in the mid eighties that had a particular song on it that I am trying to find. The cassette was a compilation of songs, unfortunately over the years I lost the tape. I think the title of the song was "Hey DJ". It could have been by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince and it may have been an Import song? Does anybody have an idea as to what this may have been? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Jay

Your "mystery song" is most likely "Hey D.J." by The World's Famous Supreme Team, a moderate hit on the r&b charts in the Summer of '84. The group was organized by British entrepreneur Malcolm McLaren, of New York Dolls/Sex Pistols fame. I could be wrong, but based on my research, I don't believe there was an album, only a single (at least here in the U.S.) for this one...
