Subject: So how big of an 80's fan are you?.............
I love the 80's sooooo much. So much so, that for my DANCE RECITAL FINALE last June, (which was "1999" by Prince) I went all out, and dressed-up like MADONNA!! Everyone loved it, but obviously no one was as big of an 80's fan as me. So how big of an 80's fan are you???

I don't think you'll find a bigger 80s glam rock fan then me. Well, you might, but I like to think I am the number one! I scored tickets to the KISS concert and I get to see my favorite band Skid Row open for them (even though Sebastian Bach is missing, which makes me really mad since he's the heart and soul of the band!) I have been doing a lot of research on 80s music, and since I discovered this site it's been a lot easier. I love all the glam rock bands from the 80s and I keep trying to track down songs by them, but it gets harder and harder to find them. I tell all of my friends how cool the 80s were and the big hair bands and stuff, but I fail. I'm a huge 80s music fan.

Oh are you kidding? I have been a slave to jelly bracelets for the past 16 years! My all-time favorite band is the Go-Go's (used to be the B52s, but I got SO burnt out on them!) I've always idolized Madonna and Belinda Carlisle since I was about 7 years old, and I always dress up "all 80s" on Halloween! I constantly watch reruns of all the old 80s sitcoms I used to watch as a child (Full House, The Cosby Show, etc.) and I am an 80s music FANATIC! I'm obsessed with the 80s! There's no denying it! I also loved the way the guys looked in the 80s with their sexy dark suits and skinny ties. I LOVE the Miami Vice look! I hope it returns in the next 5 years!! When I'm in a real eighties mood, I'll wear my Go-Go's concert t-shirt with a bazillion jelly bracelets and blue eye shadow and a big 'ole pony tail on the top of my head! I used to have a crimper, but I threw it out years ago! :( I regret it so much! I used to love wearing my hair crimped, with a big sparkly bow on top of my head! I sent ChuckyG some pics of me in the 80s, and hopefully he'll use them on this site so all of ya'll can see what I looked like! Well, peace, and have a great spring break!
Love, Lori, the 80s princess
