Does anyone remember the song about General Hospital? I think it was called General Hospitale?? Who sang it and what year was it?? Thanks in advance!

"General Hospi-Tale" was a moderate hit in the Fall of '81 for The Afternoon Delights. It was off the group's 1981 album of the same name. Unfortunately, "General Hospi-Tale" is long out-of-print, and has never been re-issued on CD here in the U.S. I have the album on cassette myself, and just gave the song a listen for the first time in a couple years: "I just can't cope...without my soap!!!" Too funny... :-)

The name of the group that sang "General Hospi-tale" was Afternoon Delights. It was released in 1981. If you're interested, there's two copies of it up for bid on www.ebay.com at the time of this posting.

Thanks so much for the info....I used to have the 45 (my nephew calls them big cd's hehehe), but for the life of me don't know what happened to it! I was on the treadmill at the gym today and they were showing General Hospital on one of the t.v.'s and that song came to my mind. Thanks again!
