Subject: Did Noel Edmonds really kill a man?
I heard a rumour that someone accidentally died on a live broadcast of one of Noel Edmond's T.V. shows in the Eighties. Noel made him do some kind of stunt which he didn't want to do because he was scared of heights, and subsequently he fell to his death. If anyone has CONCRETE evidence of this It would much appreciate. However if you know of the same rumour from a reliable source I may also be interested.

apart from the bungee jump there was also the incident where a child died falling from his aircraft at a show.....

That is true a man did die, when he was doing a stunt on on of Noels tv shows. Mike Smith used to co host the show with him, and get a member of the public to perform a challenge, I cant't quite remember exactly but i think the man was meant to bungee or fall from a height, but the safety ropes were not attached, resulting in his death, the show was never broadcast again.

Just to back up Big Mark's response - a guy was doing a bungee jump and the rope was not tied at the top - can you believe it? It was big news at the time and Noel Edmonds was off TV for quite a while afterwards, but it seems he has got over this awful tragedy to continue appearing on complete S**T that the beeb insists on broadcasting.
