Peter Wolf left the band in late 83 to pursue a solo career and had a minor hit with LIGHTS OUT in 1984. Heas once married to actress Faye Dunaway in the mid 70s. He was originally a DJ from Boston, Mass and has produced and written music for other artists such as Jefferson (Starship) in his post-J. Giels days. Recently he reunited with the J. Giels Band, albeit a short reunion.

I totally remember "Lights Out"! Lights out, uh-huh, dance, dance, dance! Great song. I wonder if Peter Wolf is a stage name. Seems too cool to be real.

If you get in touch with him, make sure to ask him what it was like working with Frank Zappa. He plays keyboards in the movie "Baby Snakes" and if memory serves me correctly he was on "Joe's Garage Act 1" Anyone invited to play with Zappa is great in my eyes.
