BILLY VERA--From "Billy Vera and the Beaters" and "Family Ties"--will appear live on stage in Los Angeles as guest on "The J. Keith van Straaten Show"!
It's a hip live comedy talk show that's an LA Weekly "Pick of the Week" and a Los Angeles Times "Best Bet." Sometimes noted as the Mini-me of the Tonight show, The JKvS show is complete with the host's opening monlogue, a sassy sidekick(Tracy Metro), and houseband, Adam and the chesters(featuring Adam Chester). And don't forget each week comes with usually 3 famous-to semi-famous guests, actors, comedians, and musicians. Next week, February 5, 2000: BILLY VERA, Bringing his saxophonist, Jerry Peterson, Comedian Doug Benson, and the 3rd guest is still yet to be announced.
