Subject: 80's television. fashion, and toys
WE are doing an 80's week soon at our school. I need info on 80's fashion and toys that were popular in the 80's. I also would like to know the exact year that the following shows began: care bears, smurfs, strawberry shortcake, teenage mutant ninja turtles, and scooby doo. Any unusual facts about the 80's would be appreciated.

I can help you out with the cartoons when they all began. Check out www.yesterdayland.com. At the upper left corner of the site, click on "80s". Then scroll down to whatever cartoon you're looking for. I was just looking in this site last night and I was getting seriously ver klempt. There were some good cartoons that I almost forgot about.
Hope this helps.
