Subject: Sionara Robocop?
Ok, I've seen the film nearly 30 times but what I just can't figure out is why it's so different to the action blockbusters of the 80's decade. I keep reading here and there that people still debate whether it was/wasn't a satire....but of what kind of satire? Political? scientifical? Commercial? Consummerism? Well, I'd like to hear someone else's opinion on that one, although I do feel that Robocop did send up action pictures nearly as much as the lame STARSHIP TROOPERS did so awfully well, but will another film like 'COP ever be made?
