Subject: David Coverdale in Van Halen?
Has anyone heard anything about this yet? Supposably he's been doing some demos with Van Halen. First Sebastian Bach was supposed to be the new vocalist but now it looks like David Coverdale (of Whitesnake). Whatever happened to Whitesnake anyway? Otherwise, I think he'd be great as long as they do Sammy Hagar type Van Halen. What do you think?

Thank God that's not true! Although I like both Van Halen and Whitesnake, I can't imagine David Coverdale singing VH's songs....it's totally false. Here's the exact quote from Van Halen's website: Dec 25, 1999 - Folks, the David Coverdale rumour is bullshit. Anyone who claims it to be true has been misled, including Rolling Stone and VH-1.

Wrong time of year for Aprils Fool jokes isn't it? >grin< Whatever happens, let's hope their next album doesn't turn out like their last album.. that thing was DOA.. I think Sammy Hagar had quite a good laugh over it.. I always perfered his solo stuff personally.. his last album was pretty good..

Well, thank kind of stinks.. I'd love to hear David Coverdale again. Whitesnake had some really great songs...
