Subject: Little House on the Praire
Does anyone know the name of the epsiode about the fire that killed Mary. I am looking for the video of that epsiode?
Subject: Mary never died on the show
Umm...Mary never died on the show. There was an episode in which she fell asleep in the barn, while studying by karosene lamp, when she kicked the lamp over in her sleep and set the barn on fire by accident. She didn't die in the fire though.
Then I think in the later, lamer, years Laura somehow accidentally started a fire that may have killed Mary's baby. Sorry I don't know the names of the episodes.

Well, actually, it was Albert and another boy who started the fire at the blind school in which Mary's baby and Alice Garvey were killed. The boys were smoking a pipe in the basement, and when Hester Sue came downstairs, they threw it on a pile of linens, and it smoldered and caught fire much later that night.
The episode where Mary's baby died is called "May We Make Them Proud." The other one, where Mary burns down the barn, is called "The Award."
I don't think either is available on video.
