Hi Michele,
The second man to host Family Feud was Ray Combs. He was a very funny man, and it totally shocked me to hear that he committed suicide. He seemed so happy. There was a recent special on E! Entertainment Television about the life of Ray Combs, and I'm sure they'll play it again in the future. I believe it was on the show, "The E! True Hollywood Story." Ray was having terrible family problems, as his wife had divorced him, and he rarely saw his kids. He was also suffering from a slump in the show business. Most of this happened after a horrible car accident he was in, and he was never the same again afterwards. He just lost it one day and they had to place him in a mental hospital, and it was there that he hung himself in a closet. It was so tragic and unfortunate, but all deaths are, especially suicides. Terrible. I hope this info helps.
