Subject: Looking for 80s Pen Pals...
Hi! My name is John Kilduff! I am 16 years old, and I love the 80s! I am looking for people on here who either grew up in the 80s or are my age, but love the 80s, for e-mail conversation! My e-mail address is atk@warwick.net. I have a question regarding the new Gap ads (which I positively [Or negatively, depending on your point of view] hate): In the ad for the Gap's leather clothing, there's a cover version of "Just Can't Get Enough" by Depeche Mode. I heard somewhere (I think on "Pop-Up Video") that the group is vegetarian. If so, why would Depeche Mode allow their song to be used in an advertisement for leather clothing, considering that most vegetarians are also animal-rights activists?
Sincerely, John Kilduff.

Hello, John!!
I'd love to chat with ya!! Most of my friends are fed up with my constant blabbering about all things '80s...I watch nothing but 80s films, listen to nothing but 80s music. As a matter of fact, I refuse to recognize the 90s, haha. To me, it's the year 1989+10! I'm 26, so I pretty much grew up in the 80s. I love it when "the younger generation" appeciates such a wonderful decade!! I, too, hate those "GAP" ads...and you made a good point, by the way. If DM is vegetarian, you'd think they'd refuse to lend their song to GAP! I'm going to have to dig into this now! Anybody who wants an 80s email-pal, feel 100% free to email me!! But I give you advanced warning...I find it hard to shut up when it comes to the 1980s!!
