Subject: VERY rare Clash gig
Does anyone know anyone with a recording of a "secret" acoustic gig the Clash played at The Station in Gateshead, England in '83? It was a favour for two members of Gateshead Music Collective who bumped into Joe Strummer & Paul Simonon and gave them a cigarette. I know it was definitely recorded but I cannot trace the guy who did it. A friend tells me that he saw Joe checking to see that the tape was running but he can not remember whether it was a member of the band's entourage or a mamber of the collective doing the recording.
Thanks,
mArk
