Subject: Software for organizing music collections
Hey, does anyone know if there's any software available for organizing music collections? I'm looking for something that can help organize by song title, year, chart position, artist, etc. I haven't seen anything out there yet, but maybe I've been looking in the wrong places... Thanks.

You bet there is-but these software packages ain't free! Although I don't currently use any myself, one of the ones I've heard the most raves about is called "ORGANIZE! Your Collection", published by PSG-Homecraft. It allows you to do everything you requested, and more! Just click on the link that I've provided to their web site below, and go to "Music Cataloging" (this company creates software for almost every hobby imaginable!). The Windows '95/'98/NT version will set you back $59.95 + $6.00 s&h...

Thanks so much ~ you have been most helpful!!! I downloaded the trial version of this last night and so far it looks exactly like what I've been looking for. It even allows me to change the field names to what I want!! I'm surprised that you wouldn't use something like this for your vast music collection. How do you remember everything you've got?
