Subject: 1984 Odd Ball Cougar !!!
Hi, I was wondering if there is someone out there that knows what makes the 1984 Mercury cougar XR7 turbo coupe so different form other Ford cars? Is this a possible future collectors item or not ?

The XR7 of course had a turbo charged V6, bigger tires and some fancy options (since it's a Mercury), other than that...it's really no different than the others. I don't see them becoming a collectors item. The TBird would be a bigger collector item than any Mercury made in the last 20 years.
