Subject: this is really reaching but...
Alright - Im going absolutly nuts here.....
You see - what I do is make "best of" albums of sorts on my own of 80s stuff, it makes great party music, and my friends love it (I think I burned about 30 copies of my last compilation). Anyhow, there is this song, and boy is this going to sound incredibly stupid - I really shouldnt even be posting this....but theres this song that I dont know the title of or even the artist, however I can only remember on little snippet of the song, it is very distinctive, and if ANYONE here can get it - you are INDEED the master of all that is 80s music, and in my opinion, all music. Alright - the ONLY part I know goes like this

Yes - I know - its horrible - I wrote the lyrics like that to signify how that second string of "whoas" overlaps with the first. I guess youd really have to hear the way its sung to know it. *sigh* this is probably pretty hopeless but Ive been searching for weeks now. I thought maybe it was Power Station (with the great Robert Palmer) but I turned up empty handed on that one. Well if ANYONE can help me out - it is much much much mcuh appriciated, Im usually pretty good at this stuff - but Im at a complete loss.

Truthfully I wasnt even expecting a response to this post because of the horrid description, but I have at least 5 solid leads now. Thanks for taking the time to respond everyone - I really appriciate it. I really should have thought of "Tarzan Boy" thats an excellent guess. Welp - gonna go check out these songs to see which one is the winner :)
