hello, i just read that footloose is now a play on broadway. Is this really true and can anyone tell me anything about it? I love the movie and i would like as much information on this new show as possible. thanks, Michele

It has been open for a while. I've been seeing ads for it since early spring, but I don't remember when it opened. It has gotten some decent reviews. One of the ads shows the cast singing "Footloose" and it sounds strange coming from a chorus instead of a single voice.
Saturday Night Fever is also coming to Broadway.
