Does anyone remember when lol used to mean "lots of love" at the end of your love letters..or just even to your best friends....or how about LYLAS.."love you like a sister"..just about the time that friendship pins came out...or was it just in the south that did that????

I remember signing letters SSFF... "super sonic friends forever", whatever that was supposed to mean. I also remember reading letters signed LOL for lots of love, and I grew up in the Midwest.
