Hello.
Perhaps someone out there can help me. There was a song that came out around 1979/80, called The Shape Of Things To Come. The only lyrics I remember are the following...
"...can you tell the future? Well I don't think so...Oh oh oh ooooooh oh...the shape of things to come..." I know that's not much info, but it's all I have. Strange how it's stayed with me all this time. I have to know who recorded this song...it's haunted me for years. Any informationg will be appreciated

Your memory serves you well. Your "mystery song" is "The Shape of Things to Come" by The Headboys, a minor hit here in the U.S. in the Fall of '79. It was off their 1979 album, simply titled "The Headboys". Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, and has never been re-issued on CD here in the U.S. BTW, the band was Scottish...

Could it be "(She's The) Shape of Things To Come" by John Oates (of Hall & Oates)? That song is on the soundtrack from the 1986 movie "About Last Night..."
