Does anyone know a song called...Midnight Blue?
There are probably many songs with this title, but the one i am thinking of is really s l o w.
I know it's not ELO. I can't remember if a guy or gal sung this. sorry, not much info for ya. Thank ya again.

I know exactly the song you are thinking of. It was credited to Louise Tucker. It's a classical melody on a synthesizer with a male and female trading vocals. "Midnight blue...so lonely without you..."

Linda Ronstadt. The melody is actually from the second movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight" pisano sonata. That "sample" always gave me the creeps.

Actually, Midnight Blue was sung by Lou Gramm (lead singer of Foreigner).
