I need help on a lost song.I figure that you two might be up for a challenge.I'll try to describe this as well as I can.83/84 JoJo Zep the song was a short lived hit on video. The singer in this song was female where as the JoJoZep albums that I have most of the songs if not all are a male singer. All else that I can remember is it had a typical early 80s upbeat sound to it.If anyone knows it will be one of you.I hope that your up for the challenge.

I assume you're referring to the late '70s/early '80s band from Australia, Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons. If so, yes, I've heard of the band and seen one or two of their albums while out on my record-store travels over the years, but I'll admit I'm not familiar w/ their music. At this time, I don't own any of their albums...
Although they released their debut album in their native Australia in 1976, it wasn't until 1980 that Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons scored a North American record deal w/ the Columbia label. As a result, only two of their albums came out here in the U.S.: "Screaming Targets" (1980) and "Step Lively" (1981). As I noted above, I've seen these two once or twice on cassette, but I can tell you they're both pretty rare. The group failed to score any pop hits in the States, and neither album cracked the charts here, either, so by 1982, Columbia had apparently dropped them...
The group then shortened their name to simply "Jo Jo Zep", and released one final album of new material in 1982, titled "Cha", which was released in Australia only. They finally split up in 1983, and a couple of compilation albums have come out since then...
When the band originally formed in 1975, they apparently had two lead singers (both male): Wayne Burt and Joe Camilleri. However, Burt left in 1977, leaving Camilleri on lead vocals until the 1982 "Cha" album. That was when the group's first (and only) female member, Jane Clifton, joined as co-lead singer...
So apparently the song you're thinking of featured Clifton, was off the "Cha" album, and must've been a "short-lived video hit" in 1982-83. The two singles released off the album in Australia were "Taxi Mary" and "Walk on By" (cover of the 1964 U.S. hit by Dionne Warwick). "Taxi Mary" was a pretty big hit Down Under in the Fall of '82, so that would be my first guess, although I'm pretty sure I've never heard the tune. As TX pointed out, I also show that the group released a final single in the Summer of '83 titled "Losing Game", although I was unable to confirm whether or not the song was included on "Cha" (may have just been a one-off single, as TX suggested)...
Sorry I wasn't able to pinpoint the actual song, but I'm afraid that's my best stab at this "challenge"...

There was a Jo Jo Zep song/video from 83 called "Losing Game." That is all the info I could find. I think it was only a single (no album.) There are a few 45s for sale on the net.
