Need Input!! Does anybody know of a band called...Red 7? Did they have many albums? What were the songs?
Another question....Who or which band sings the songs: Mezmerized..i'm hypnotized and had a dream, i was born, i was naked in the eye of the storm(that's all i can make of these songs).Please help...I've been racking my brain for 20 years!! Thank you, in advance.

]Not positive, but I believe Red 7 did some songs for the 1986 movie soundtrack (out of print) to the movie "Manhunter" which was recently released on dvd. This movie was based on the Thomas Harris novel "Red Dragon" which was the prequel to Silence of the Lambs."

Red 7 were a mid to late '80s all-male rock trio from the U.S. They released only two albums, both on MCA. And while both albums managed to scrape the bottom of the charts here in the U.S., the band failed to score any pop or AOR hits...
First came their s/t debut in 1985, which consisted of 10 tracks. It was issued on vinyl LP and cassette only, and unfortunately, is long out-of-print in both formats. It's never been re-issued on CD here in the U.S...
In 1987, they released their follow-up, "When the Sun Goes Down". It also contained 10 tracks. This one came out in all three formats here in the U.S. - vinyl LP, cassette, and CD. But like their debut, it's long out-of-print in all formats. Used copies of the CD version currently go for about $10-$15 on eBay...
Wicked Lester was correct on the Roger Hodgson tune. It was a moderate hit here in the U.S. in the Fall of '84...

This sounds like "Had a Dream
(Sleeping With the Enemy)" from Roger Hodgson's 1984 solo album In the Eye of the Storm.
