Subject: New Gap Commercial...HELP!!
Hi, this is my first time posting here, but I was hoping someone could help me. There is a new Gap commercial out using an old song from id say about 1984 called (i think) "Give it Up" Does anyone out there know who sings this and what the right name is? If any of you think you know heres a tidbid to jog your memory. The music video had a dude singing it and this little fairy chick was in it, and if i remember correctly there was a Star wars rip off scene with the dude singing with Jabba the Hut's alien band. I know it sounds crazy but i love that song and i cant get it out of my head HELP!!!

Another KC & the Sunshine Band song was featured in a previous Gap commercial as well... "Keep It Comin' Love". I guess "Shake Your Booty" will be in the next commerical...

Actually, it's the Gap's main competitor, Old Navy, that is currently using "Keep it Comin' Love" in one of its TV ads. (Saw it only two days ago, as well as the Gap's "Give it Up" ad.) Either way, I'm sure Mr. Casey is enjoying it all the way to the bank...

Just saw the "Give it Up" commercial again tonight, and indeed, it is for Old Navy. I guess because this one doesn't feature that usual annoying old lady in it, I just assumed it was for the Gap. I stand corrected...
