Subject: More info needed, thanks
Hello
first of all thanks for the info on Tarzan Boy. I have a few more to throw at you, I know you can handle it. First, what was the title of the song that was used in Vanilla Ice's, Ice Ice Baby? It's something like, "Pressure, comming down on me, comming down on you...." It's the original Ice used for his song. I just wondered what the real song was called. Ok, next one goes,
"Have to believe we are majic, dont let your head ever sway...". Who sings that one? Ok, I think this one is easy, goes like this,"Playing with the kings of hearts, no one is really smart, joker is the only fool, to keep me away from you", something like that. Ok, few more promise.
One that goes, "wont you play some funky dixieland, come on pretty mamma take me by the hand,....". Ok, who sings, "Anywhich way but loose", it was from that movie with Clint Eastwood, remember,"Right turn clide"? Last one,
how about,"there is music in the air, and there is music everywhere, so gimme the night"?.....
thats it, any help is over appreciated.
Thanks gang

The song that Vanilla Ice turned into "Ice Ice Baby" was "Under Pressure" by Queen with David Bowie.
"Have to believe we are magic" is from "Magic" by Olivia Newton-John from her movie "Xanadu."
"Playing with the queen (not king) of hearts" is from "Queen of Hearts" by Juice Newton.
The "funky Dixieland" was "Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers. (That song was from 1975.)
The theme to "Every Which Way but Loose" was sung by the late Eddie Rabbitt while the sequel's theme, "Any Which Way You Can," was done by Glen Campbell. BTW, the line "Right turn, Clyde," was only used in "Any Which Way You Can.
"Give Me the Night" was by George Benson. (I'm not sure about the last one but I think it was by George Benson.)

Juice was covering Dave Edmunds if I'm not mistaken.
John G.

On the last one, It may have been the disco-ish song done by Kool & The Gang that he's referring to. I'm not quite sure of the name of the song, but it sure sounds like part of the chorus.

No, it was George Benson... I have an MP3 of it. Came out around 81 or so....
