I am trying to figure out an 80's song that was featured in a mouthwash commericial. It's kinda hard to describe the song, but it was in the mouthwash commercial that had the bottles swinging from the trees like tarzzan. The song has a repetiticious chorus that kinda goes, like...ooway owayo, o wayo..something like that, I dont know what the words in the song say, but I know it has words to it. I thought the title of the song has something to do with the jungle, but I dont really know. Any info would greatly help.

I think the name of the song was "Jungle Life". I can sit and sing the whole thing in my head, but not real sure that is the correct name. Don't have any idea who sang it, but I thought that was a really cool song too!!

It was "Jungle Boy" by Baltimore.

I read the earlier threads. The poster (Mark) is indeed thinking of the same song I am . It was in a mouthwash commercial (Listerine) The oh oh oho oho o o , (repeat) was in it. I searched Cd now for Baltimora (or Baltimore) and cant find it. I did see a "jungle boy" ( I searched Cd now) and what I listened to was NOT it. Nothing like it. It sounded like one guy singing it, and I remember some horns in the background...

No, but as a long-time regular here, I guess I should remind you of my post of Sunday, 25 February 2001, in the "Still need help with that video!" thread, which TX then responded to later that same day. Re-read both of those, and you'll better understand where my little outburst came from - I'm sure TX remembers our discussion well...

But alas, it seems that 6 months later, nothing's changed - ah well, guess I shouldn't fight it anymore...

Yeah, but at least in my case I wasn't mixing the 2 songs up. Just a little faux pas... there's another term for it as well, but I'd better not use it in mixed company
