Subject: Request for infomation

Written By: Andrew Cooper on 8/11/1999 at 2:47 a.m.

Hi,

I am a student at the Australian National University, and for one of my courses, my group and I have to come up with a business plan for a shop. We chose a to start a retro shop.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows or has any ideas about where a shop such as this could obtain its inventory from. Your help will be much appreciated. Please contact me by email.

Thanks,

Andrew.

Well, I'm assuming the lots of cities are similar worldwide so... I'd suggest starting at your local antique dealer. In procuring 80's records I found this is one of the best ways to go. On a global level, Internet auctions (such as on ebay) are probably your best bet. The selection is generally very wide, as are the prices. Some collectors items might cost you a lot, but you can probably get a lot of smaller things for fairly cheap.
