Subject: Going to an 80s party, how do i do my hair?
Hi! I'm going to a club next weekend that's throwing a "big 80's" themed party. in order to get in to the spirit, we're all getting dressed up in our best ( and worst) 80's duds! I just need help in doing my hair. Since I didn't live through the period (I'm 18) I'm not sure on how to get the really BIG hair. I've got a week to prepare, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to look like a Jersey Mall chick!! Can anyone give me some tips?

Start with clean, wet hair. Add as much mousse as humanly possible. Dry with your head flipped upside down - do not bring head back up until completely dry.
Then, backcomb (tease) the top until it is as high as can be. Style as desired, using lots of hairspray. Look to any of the 80s heavy metal groups for inspiration.

Excellent Sarah...but don't forget to get some of that colored hairspray and spray glitter -- try to get it "slicked back" on the sides and the top as puffy as possible. Also add more mousse/haispray to the dried hair LOL.
Add heavy black eyeliner to eyes painted to color coordinate with hair. Electric blue and/or hot pink are great colors.
