Subject: Song of Melissa Manchester
In the eighties, Melissa Manchester recorded with Al Jarreau a beautiful song. I believe the title was "The music of goodbye".
It is on a Melissa's album, or a soundtrack and in the positive, which one? Or maybe on an Al Jarreau's album?
After all the searches that I've made, I'm wondering if the title is okay...
Thank you!

I did a search at cdnow.com for the song you were looking for. The only thing I found was that it was from the "Out Of Africa" soundtrack. Is this the same song you're looking for?

This is weird.....
When I graduated high school in '87 the class had to learn that song for the ceremony. You may be correct on the title/if not, you've got the right idea.
Anyway I remember that it came from the soundtrack of "Out of Africa" -I think w/ Meryl Streep and some other big actor. That's what I know......
