Subject: Where is Eddy Grant?
Does anyone in the whole wide web know the whereabouts of 'Electric Avenue' hero Eddy Grant?
The newly formed Electric Avenue Residents' Association in Brixton want to invite him to the opening of the soon-to-be-cleaned up historic street!
Any info on him since his heyday would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Eddie Grant is the owner of a calypso record label called Ice Records. He was in litigation with the co-founder a few years back, but I believe he won out and has sole control over the label. I used to work for a distribution company for reggae and island music, and we dealt with Ice around the Caribbean's Carnivale time of the year when calypso music sells the most. He had a top 5 hit on his own called "Gimme Hope Jo'anna" in 1989/1990, but that was his last reported hit single anywhere.
