Subject: Info on a Made for TV Movie
Hi,
I hope someone on this list can help me.
Every time I hear the song China Grove it reminds me of a movie I saw in the late 80's(?). The movie was about a Canadian student on his way to the US (I think it was Colorado) to go to college. On the way is car broke down and he was picked up by these guys in a van. They proceeded to hold him hostage and finally kill him. One part of the movie that I remember in particular was the victim was sitting bound and gagged in the back of the van listening while the killers tried to decide how to kill him.
Does anyone know the name of the movie or the name of the college student?
I'm pretty sure it was a true story.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
