Subject: We All Do It

Admit it. You're driving along in your car and that certain song comes on the radio or a CD, and of its own accord your hand reaches over and cranks up the volume on the stereo until your ears are practically bleeding. Which song(s) does this for you? One of mine is "I Can't Drive 55" by Sammy Hagar, also "Separate Ways" by Journey. "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden as well

Just did a search of past postings and I came upon this one. It's friggin' HUGE (too bad I don't have the time to read all of them). I want to put in my two cents too while I'm at it. Definitely anything by New Order and Depeche Mode I crank up the volume in the car. A few weeks ago, I heard KROQ play "The Perfect Kiss" (keep in mind that I haven't listened to this station in over 3 years) and it took me back to the days of yore when radio played music made by musicians. Well, gotta go.

For Heavy Metal/Rock songs...I would have to say "The Stroke" by Billy Squier, "Anyway You Want It" by Journey, "Cum On Feel The Noize" by Quiet Riot, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar, "Middle Of The Road" by the Pretenders...etc., etc., etc...

Hmmm a few come to mind.

St. Elmo's Fire by John Parr, Centerfold by J. Geils Band, Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds, Send Me An Angel by Real Life, Heaven Is A Place On Earth by Belinda Carlisle, Life In A Northern Town by Dream Academy, Invisible Touch by Genesis, Shake Your Love by Debbie Gibson, We Got The Beat by The Go-Go's, Voices Carry by Aimee Man, Hungry Eyes by Eric Carman, and many, many others.

That's probably 10% of them for me.
