my sister is trying to find the name of a movie she saw where a gator ate at boys dog and the boy says: I am going to get that gator that ate my dog. Said it was excellent but could not remember the name or who was in it. help, Thanks

It might have been the B movie, Alligator. I don't remember the scene you were refering to in the post, however. The movie came out circa 1980. I saw it at a drive-in as a kid.
