Not pop/rock at all. It's "Rock Steady" by the classic funk/r&b group, The Whispers, a huge top 10 hit here in the U.S. in the Summer of '87. It was off their 1987 album, "Just Gets Better With Time". Fortunately, the album is still in print today on CD here in the U.S...

LOL Yes indeed, there is plenty that I don't know.
The main reason I remembered it is because it's a staple on this 70s/80s soul/R&B station that I listen to sometimes.
