What a bunch of crap - except for The Pretenders and The Buggles. Too bad MTC wasn't hip enough to broadcast more of the British NEW WAVE artists (No, Cliff Richard doesn't count)who were ahead of North America in terms of embracing the new medium

Video Killed the Radio Star was also the 1,000,000 song to be played on MTV as well. I believe that was in 1999.
