Subject: Anarchy in the UK
Does anybody there remember "Anarchy in the UK" by the Sex Pistols? I know they are from the '70s, but both Megadeth and Motley Crue decided to cover this song. Megadeth's(So far, so good, so what!) and Motley Crue's(Decade of Decadence) versions kick major ass! What do you think? I also love the Sex Pistols! Johnny Rotten for me is the godfather of punk!!!

Motorhead also re-did "God Save The Queen" by The Sex Pistols. Sex Pistols were great, but I liked Black Flag much better.

I didn't care much for Motley's version, but Megadeth's was okay. Nothing beats the original though. The Pistols were all the rage when I was in Jr High, and I can remember going to friend's houses after school to listen to the records because my mom wouldn't let such "rubbish" into our home. LOL I guess she bought into all the scare hype that was on TV about them corrupting the youth. Funny, she had no problem with me bringing KISS records home.
