Subject: finding a rare UK 80's band

Written By: farbos on 7/23/2001 at 12:02 p.m.

I'm trying to find a late 80's/early 90's UK band that had at least one video on MTV's "120 Minutes". More specifically, the song had these lyrics: "...whisper in my ear, I cannot turn the pages, I cannot hear...la la la...". The video had the singer bound to a pole while being shot with arrows. Pretty cool song, if only I had the name of the band OR the song.
Can somebody help me, PLEASE? Thanks!

Actually, no bullseye yet. Oh well. I remember their first album cover had a red "carnival" sort of look to it, with a smiling face on it (?)
Anyway, it's one of those "tip of the tongue" bands. If you find anything else, please send it.
Thanks again!
