Subject: What song is this???
If you can, tell the artist and title of the song with whatever I'm giving you from the song:
and we can build our dream together..............
... nothing's gonna stop us now...
got it?
go ahead, answer.

Sounds like "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by Jefferson Starship, from the late 80s.

Not to be picky or anything, but the group was actually Starship, and the song was originally released in 1987 from the "Mannequin" soundtrack.

The instant I hit "post message" I remembered that they had dropped the "Jefferson" before 1987, so I was expecting someone to call me on it
But hey, Kheldara did a pretty good job of taking up for me, don't you think? :p

Not to be *really really really* picky or anything, but the group *was* called "Jefferson Starship", then dropped the "Jefferson" because they thought it would make them more commercially successful. (It worked.) Their other most famous single, "We Built This City (On Rock'N'Roll)" was originally released under "Jefferson Starship".
So...nyah. Oh, dear. I'm sorry. :-) Really.
Khel.

My understanding regarding the band's switch from Jefferson Starship to just Starship was that there was a legal dispute between the band and a former founding member (I believe it was Marty Balin). He kept the band from making a comeback using the name Jefferson Starship.
