"...Is that gonna getcha back, is that gonna getcha back."
It's called "Right On Track" by the Breakfast Club. It was a hit in 1987. Apparantely Madonna was the lead singer of the band until she went solo in 1982.

I did not know that about Madonna...that brings up something interesting. Madonna produced and provided backup vocals for Nick Kamen's (one?) hit "Each Time You Break My Heart" from 1986. The music for "Right on Track" sounds a lot like "Each Time". To my knowledge Nick Kamen's song was released first (according to publishing dates on the singles I have; I remember hearing both on the radio around the same time...) Hmmm...

You are right, DJ... Nick Kamen's "Each Time (You Break My Heart)" does sound suspiciously like the Breakfast Club song! Hey, Madonna slept with the lead singer of the Breakfast Club (according to the Madonna biography by Christopher Rich) and Nick Kamen... go figure!

Just to clarify for you guys, Madonna was the DRUMMER for The Breakfast Club in 1979 when she first moved to New York, she started her own group in 1980 called Emmy and then decided to go it solo after that
