Subject: What are your favorite "Three's Company" Episodes?
I have certain favorite episodes of Three's Company, but I've never found anyone who liked them for the same reasons I did.
I like the one where Mr. Roper is fixing the pipes in their bathroom and overhears the three's conversation and assumes certain things...
I like the one where Cindy's boyfriend is this jerk who's always picking at her image, and again there's a missunderstanding.
I also like the one "And Baby makes Two"---Very funny.
If you've seen these episodes, you know what kind of missunderstanding I mean, because you would have remembered them for the same reasons I did. If you do, please reply, or e-mail me later. Thanks,
Therese

Pretty much anything from the "Chrissy Years." I like the first episode. There was also the one when Chrissy bought this huge stuffed Giraffe with some winnings from a horse race. Or the one were Chrissy mentions the fact that, from reading the Obituary Section in the newspaper she gathers that everyone is dying in alphabetical order to which Jack and Janet reply that Jack should have his name changed to "Jack Zipper." I found the last one kind of odd seeing as to how a "bubble-headed" character would take such strange interest in reading the Obituary Section...

The writers of "Three's Company" were genuises because every single episode had some degree of misinterpretation between the characters and their dialogues. That's why the show was so original and funny. Who remembers the wise cracks between Mr. and Mrs. Roper? Those were clever classics.
My favorite episode was the Christmas episode when Jack, Chrissy and Janet got invited to "the Stevens' party", but also got invited to the Roper's party, and had to choose one to go to. They decided to go to the Roper's party since they were invited to go to their's first, even if they wanted to go to "the Stevens' party".
The party ended up to be a bomb. It included mixed nuts, Roper playing his bugle, and various card tricks. Jack, Chrissy and Janet told the Roper's that they had to go home to bed, but secretly decided to go to the Stevens' party. After they left, the Roper's also secretly decided that they were going to the Stevens' party. I never forgot the very last quote said by both groups: "Maybe now we'll finally meet some interesting people." It was great.
Another one of my favorite episodes was when Jack and Terri had their own cooking show, which ended up to be a televised fiasco. I'll never forget when the cooking cart went right through the wall. I could never stop laughing.
When I was about 10 years old I used to tape "Three's Company" all the time for my brother, and I feel honoured to have been exposed to a television show that had such sophisticated jokes, and that sometimes, I could understand them.

...the show is based on a British show called "Man About The House." I've never seen an episode, but the ending credits mention it. Excellent choices, BTW.

I *wondered* what you lot were talking about! I thought all those MATH episodes I recall watching on Aussie TV had scrambled my brain and I'd forgotten the true title, because this show sounded so much like it...
